Tenants

We pride ourselves on our dedication to providing the best possible service for our tenants.

Information for tenants:

We provide all our tenants with a welcome pack that contains a few essentials to get you started when you move in:

  • An information pack will be left in the property that contains all user manuals, details of important points of contact, utility suppliers contact details

  • We have a 24 hour helpline with 24 hour on-call maintenance team

  • Tenancies are predominantly based on a 6 month term, though 12 month terms can be negotiated with the consent of the landlord

  • Credit checking and landlord / employer references will be taken up by ‘Rentchecks’. In order to satisfy the criteria set out by Rentcheck, your gross income should be equivalent to 2 1/2 times the monthly rent

  • We are unfortunately unable to credit reference overseas applicants, and we therefore require the rent to be paid in full at the start of the tenancy

  • You will be responsible for the payment of all utility bills and council tax. We will obtain meter readings and inform the utility suppliers in writing of the change of occupancy

  • Before moving in you are required to pay a security deposit and a months rent upfront in cleared funds (cash, bankers draft, chaps). Your deposit will be refunded at the end of the tenancy assuming the apartment is left in its original condition.

  • The rent will be payable on a monthly basis on the date that you move into the property. We will provide you with a standing order mandate that you will need to complete and pass to your bank

  • If you do not wish to stay at the property at the end of the fixed term, we require one months notice in writing

  • You will need to provide 2 forms of ID (passport / drivers licence plus a recent utility bill / bank statement) when applying for a property.

  • The security deposit required is equivalent to one months rent. This is fully refundable at the end of the tenancy assuming the apartment is left in good condition.
